I have placed several canvass chairs around favourite locations in the Sussex High Weald woodland, such as this one near Burwash. Even in winter it’s usually warm enough to spend a couple of hours typing away at my novels, though the chairs have to be replaced every so often, either because (in two cases) mice find them and chew large holes in the canvass or – more often – poachers hunting wild deer come across them and steal them.
